At Redwood we pride ourselves on the quality of our work and our experience in construction equips us to ensure your project will be built to the highest standard and in the most cost-efficient way.
Once your building control drawings are underway, we will provide you with an itemised schedule of works. This will show the individual cost of each stage of the build. Before building commences the schedule of works will become a programme showing proposed start and completion dates plus projected interim payments. The interim payments will be for work completed to that date.
We tailor your project to suite your finances
The schedule of works will help us to discuss and adjust the project to suite your finances. For example, you may decide to carry out the decorating yourself thus eliminating this expense from the overall cost of the project. Or you may choose to postpone some stages to spread costs such as the final supply and installation of a bathroom suite in a loft conversion bathroom. If you have a family member or friend who is and electrician or plumber and you wish to use them to save on this expense, we are happy to adjust your budget accordingly. The itemised schedule of works/programme is designed to help make financing your project more manageable and to help you track the progress of the build.
Minimising disruption during the build

We know for many people the thought of having building work carried out can be a daunting prospect. We endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum so that you can go about your everyday routine uninterrupted. From the outset of the build we will plan with you the sequence of events. This may include a temporary kitchen or programming a knock through while you’re away. With many projects we’re able to complete most of an extension or loft conversion before opening up the new space to the existing property.
